Although I have been a part of this business my entire life, ownership was just passed down to me by my father in 2017. As a high school graduate and certified fabrication & welder, previously employed by NASCAR, this is truly where I am meant to be. So far, my biggest accomplishment is purchasing the new facility as the first step in the right direction to making my dreams a reality. I manage each employee throughout day to day tasks, while making myself readily accessible to help anyone in the shop, but most importantly the customers. Ultimately, my favorite thing about my job is the variety of jobs we encounter, resulting in satisfied customers.
“Passion meets perfection”
My favorite thing about my job is being able to help the man of my dreams turn his into reality, while paving the way for our future. By far, the biggest accomplishment to date is learning the accounting aspect of the business being that I graduated from college with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. Since then, I have decided to take up accounting and finance in school to give me a bit more knowledge in the world of business. My dedication to make this an ultimate success, graphic design background, and energetic personality is what makes me an important part of the team.
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” -Philippians 4:13
As a father of three and the creator of this business back in 1976, I have quite a bit to be proud of. I have always had a passion for fixing cars, but it wasn’t until I returned to Littleton, NC from the Army 82nd Airborne, that I started what is now known as Buddy Isles Tire and Automotive. Throughout the years, each of my kids have played a role in the shop, but it is my son that is carrying it from this point forward. This 55,000 sq ft facility is going to be his legacy and I can’t wait to see what all he is able to accomplish with it in his future! That alone is among the most rewarding aspects of my lifelong dedication to this journey. I hope that someday, my daughters may also decide to join him in carrying out our family business.

In addition to being the long-term girlfriend to the man that started it all over 40 years ago, I am also a mother to four kids, and a grandmother to one precious baby boy. My favorite part about my job is being able to meet new people. Being a “eople person”, full of enthusiasm, and a willingness to do anything asked of me makes me an asset to the team.
“The woman who follows the crowd will usually go no further than the crowd. The woman who walks alone is likely to find herself in places no one has ever been before. -Albert Einstein
I am a wife, mother of 5, and grandmother to 3 little boys that make my world complete. I have been a service writer for nearly 20 years, but didn’t join this team until August of 2018. Over the years I have learned quite a bit, making me very fitting for this position. If I had to pick, I would say my three strongest qualities are my communication skills, endless drive to learn new things, and a passion for this line of work. With that being said, my favorite part of the job is getting to meet and build personal relationships with our customers, but the most challenging aspect is learning all the different parts and making sure they are here in a timely fashion after ordering, so that the technicians are able to complete the job.
“If it is mean tto be, it will be”
In March of 2019, I became apart of the team here at Buddy Isles Tire & Automotive and have nothing but great things to say about it. I have been in the automotive industry for around 45 years, so I have quite a bit of knowledge to bring to the team, but I have also acquired numerous tools over the years, too! In addition, I’d say that I am a very strong leader that is willing to lend a helping hand whenever needed and I also have the ability to convey automotive terminology to the average person to ensure customer satisfaction and understanding.
“Live simple for others may simply live”
I started here at Buddy Isles Tire & Automotive in September of 2017. Since then, I have accomplished several things, but the one that I am most proud of is becoming a more technical mechanic. Being that I take pride in my work, I strive to be a dependable, honest, and very organized member of the team as we work together to build a successful future.
“If you don’t have time to do it right, when will you have time to do it over?”
I started here in May of 2018 as an automotive technician, but I soon developed an interest in roadside assistance and recovery. While I am in the shop, I prefer bigger jobs such as transmissions or diesel work, but I am always willing to do just about anything that needs to be done.
“In order to be successful, you have to stay busy”
After a lifelong friendship with Buddy Jr, I am thrilled to be a part of this team. On a daily basis, I can be found changing oil or working on tires, but since starting here in March of 2019, I have learned so many new things. Out of them all, the one thing I am most proud of is learning to weld!
“If you ain’t got nothing to do, its because you don’t want to do anything.”
I started here in April of 2019 and can honestly say, I love it here! I graduated high school and went straight into pursuing automotive courses where I earned four different certifications: Basic Mechanic, HVAC, Fuel Injectors, and Marine engines. In addition to my knowledge, I am also a very hard worker that takes pride in completing tasks as a team. In short, I enjoy what I do, but my family that is currently back in Puerto Rico is my motivation. I hope that someday they will be able to move here.
I am a high school graduate, husband, and father of four. Throughout the 2 ½ years I have been employed here, I have strengthened my knowledge with body work and paint repairs, gained skills as a general mechanic, as well as, in the towing/recovery department of the shop. My favorite thing about my job is having the ability to turn cars into a beautiful new ride again while working in a spacious shop filled with friendly vibes.
